Ephemeral art trail to have artist-in-residence
The Pearl Beach Arboretum's Ephemeral Art Trail will have an "artist-in-residence" when it is held from March 22 to April 27 next year.
The position will be supported by Central Coast Council through its Creative Art Central program.
Arboretum secretary Ms Mary Knaggs said the event "creates inspiring temporary public art in a beautiful bushland setting".
"The installations must promote nature conservation, support community identity, and increase the cultural vibrancy on the NSW Central Coast," she said.
"Community groups and artists will be invited to enter ideas in all art forms with a theme of Harmony in Nature."
It will be open to the public free of charge during daylight hours, with 30 artworks on display.
"Over five weekends, the Arboretum Cottage will feature music, dance and creative workshops."
