Bridge club raises $1070 on charity day
Brisbane Water Bridge Club held its annual Jean Pelham Charity day on Thursday, May 9, raising $1070.
A raffle raised $540 and table fees $530.
The club's charity volunteers prepared a lunch with four varieties of soup, crusty bread, quiche, zucchini slice and chocolate slice.
The day's event was contested by 17 pairs.
Christine Hadaway and Ann Snow won north-south, while Sylvia Foster and Jaan Oitmaa won east-west.
North-south results were:
