Friends start fundraising for community garden
A fundraising campaign for Woy Woy Peninsula Community Garden has been started by Friends of the Garden.
The Friends aim to raise money for maintenance and resources for the garden.
They are encouraging people to recycle eligible containers through the Return and Earn machine in Woy Woy, or elsewhere, and transfer the proceeds to the community garden.
They will also accept eligible containers at the garden between 9:30am and 11:30am on the second Saturday of the month.
