Mixed Fours champions declared after two months
The Everglades Mixed Fours Champions have finally been declared after a break of almost two months.
This Final commenced on December 9, with play suspended due to extreme weather with just seven ends left to play.
The game was finally completed on Sunday, February 4.
The team of Barry Cross, Loraine Cross, Jeannine Vigar and Ken Young (29) defeated Wendy Ide, Betty Cadwallader, Steve Chay and Vince Chand (12).
Upcoming events at Everglades include the Mixed Pairs starting Sunday, March 3, the Minor Pairs from Sunday, April 7, and a sponsored Triples Tournament on Wednesday, April 17.
