Marine Rescue may run more boat licence courses
Marine Rescue Central Coast is considering introducing more boat licence courses, after two seminars this month were sold out.
"The first, for Saturday, February 17, was swamped with bookings," said Central Coast unit publicity officer Mr David Wicks.
"A second course was organised for Sunday, February 25, but this too sold out in a short space of time.
"Marine Rescue Central Coast is a registered training organisation with members professionally-trained to national standards for their roles both on and off the water.
"The next boat licence course is scheduled for May, but the based unit may hold another at Pt Clare before then."
