Charity bowls day raises $1035
Ettalong Bowling Club's bowlers have raised $1035 at their charity day on Sunday, January 21.
"We had 42 charity bowlers as well as the Rebels and the WhoAreWe Tribe," said organiser Mr Ken Dixon.
"The Spider was won by Greg 'Chardy' Elliott for the first time while Patsy Reynolds won the Patisserie Voucher.
"Bill McClellan was the winner of the Wednesday Bowlers Bourbon.
"Dolly's cousin Lisa was the successful bidder for the Port, adding another $50 to the total.
"Happy Gilmour's team picked up the winning rink draw against Mick Petho."
Mr Dixon said the day raised a further $1,035 for Central Coast Kids in Need.
The group was told that the three Bendigo Bank branches on the Central Coast had each also donated $5000 for Kids in Need for the year.
The next charity day will be held on Sunday, February 18.
