January records 99mm rainfall

A total of 99mm of rain fell on the Peninsula in January, according to figures supplied by Mr Jim Morrison of Umina.

The total was 19mm or 16.1 per cent less than the January average of 118mm.

Only two days had more than five millimetres, being January 15 when 62.6mm was recorded and January 18 with 13.0mm.

Falls of greater than one millimetre were recorded on 10 other days during the month.
