CEN announces campaign to fix planning scheme
The Community Environment Network has announced a campaign to have the NSW Government to fix the Central Coast's planning scheme.
It has called on the Government to suspend Central Coast Council's planning powers.
"The Central Coast deserves a better plan," said Network chair Mr Gary Chestnut.
"Planning on the Central Coast is broken.
"Our lifestyle, amenity, native flora and fauna, cultural heritage and sustainable development are all at risk," he said.
"This region's character and lifestyle are at stake."
A campaign launch will be held at 7pm on Tuesday, February 13, at Ourimbah Campus.
