Five residents honoured in King's Birthday list
Five Peninsula residents have been named in the King's Birthday Honours List.
Two Surf Life Saving stalwarts have been awarded Order of Australia medals, while a professor, an associate professor and a former associate professor have been appointed members of the Order of Australia.
Ms Louise Lambeth and Mr Peter Lambeth were awarded their medals for their service to surf life saving.
Umina resident Professor Bronwen Dalton has been appointed a member of the Order of Australia for significant service to social advocacy and social justice academia, and to charitable organisations.
Associate Professor Graeme Jackson Hughes of Pearl Beach has been appointed a member of the Order of Australia for significant service to medicine in the field of fertility.
Dr Beverley Kingston of Woy Woy and formerly of Pearl Beach has been appointed a member of the Order of Australia for significant service to community history and tertiary education.
