Esteban wins regional VET student of the year award
Brisbane Water Secondary College students Esteban Cervera has won the title of VET in Schools Student of the Year for the Hunter Central Coast region for his performance in his cookery course.
"This is an outstanding achievement and a true testament to Esteban's work ethic, passion, and dedication to his vocational learning pathway," said Woy Woy campus principal Ms Rebecca Cooper, who also attended the awards ceremony.
"He is not only a credit to our school, but a role model for younger students and a shining example of where hard work and commitment can lead."
Along with Emily Harris who undertook a hospitality course at the College, he attended the VET Awards as a State finalist.
"Both students have worked incredibly hard in their VET courses and represented BWSC with professionalism and pride," said Ms Cooper.
