Bridge club raises $1400 in charity week
Brisbane Water Bridge Club has raised more than $1400 in a Charity Week.
Previously, the club held a charity day in combination with a red point event.
This year the committee decided to hold a charity week "to attract a larger overall cohort keeping charity in mind for a longer period".
The money was collected from table fees, raffle tickets, soup money and donations, with the funds going to the Woy Woy Community Food Pantry and We Care Coast Connect.
The club held its Presidents Cup on Tuesday, June 10, as a red point event. Results were:
