Eileen Crawford dies, aged 101
Eileen Crawford has died at the age of 101 years on New Years Day.
She was a member of the Umina Beach Women's Bowling Club since 1988, and the first member of the club to reach 100 years.
A resident of the Peninsula Village aged care facility, she was born in 1923 in Orange NSW, one of six children.
She had three children in Sydney before retiring to Umina in the 1980s.
As well as being involved with Umina bowling club, she also worked as a volunteer for Woy Woy Hospital Auxiliary for 30 years.
Her funeral was held at Palmdale last Wednesday, January 8.
