Tree day competition closes on Thursday
Entries for the Pearl Beach Tree Day Competition close at 5pm this Thursday, July 25.
The competition is being run by the Pearl Beach Progress Association's environment group in association with the Pearl Beach Arboretum.
Entries may be artwork, photographs and poems celebrating trees.
Prizes will be awarded in each category.
A $30 prize is offered for 4-7 year olds for best artwork, $50 for 8-16 year olds and $125 for over-16 year olds.
A $50 prize is offered for 8-16 year olds for best photo and $125 for over-16 year olds.
A $50 prize is offered for 8-16 year olds for best poem and $125 for over-16 year olds.
