Senior citizens seek card players

The Ettalong 50+ Leisure and Learning Centre is seeking people to join its cards group.

"Whether your fancy is 500 or Bridge, we have seats ready for you to enjoy the challenge of a game," said vice-president Mr Vic Deeble.

"Members not only play cards, but also have breaks for tea or coffee in our dining area.

"Lunch can also be provided.

"The Centre is a not-for-profit organisation, run by volunteers for seniors, so we keep the costs down," he said.

"A morning of cards is $3.

"Why not drop in and see what fun you could have in a friendly environment in the heart of Ettalong.

"We are situated in the red brick building on the corner of Broken Bay Rd and Karingi St."
