BMX track opens for school holidays
Siblings Torben and Katarina Carlsson can't get enough of the new BMX track at Umina Beach skate park giving it a high nine out of 10.
They were among the many local children using the track over the school holidays.
Reasons for their thumbs-up include "no gravel rash" which was a problem with the previous track.
The upgrade is a smooth and paced surface which allows for greater speed and thrust off the jumps, they said.
The Umina Community Group welcomed the opening of the new BMX pump track and bouldering wall on Friday, July 5, in time for the school holidays.
