Surf club receives Rotary sponsorship
The Umina Surf Life Saving Club has gained $5000 sponsorship from the Rotary Club of Woy Woy for its activities over the coming year.
Rotary club joint presidents Mr Tom McCann and Mr Trevor Walker visited the club last week to finalise the arrangement.
They met with surf club president Ms Kerry Armstrong-Smith and sponsorship manager Mr Mike Begg.
Mr Begg said the funds would go towards the ongoing development of lifesaving members via the club's Bronze Medalion program and new members' courses and programs over the coming season.
