New Rotary president distributes blankets in person
New president of the Rotary Club of Umina Beach Mr Dave Tanare has wasted no time in getting in and serving our local community.
"He put out a call to club members for surplus good quality blankets to be distributed to homeless and needy families for the cold weather," said club publicity officer Mr Pat Lewis.
"He quickly got a good supply which he took personally and gave to homeless people in our parks.
"He had some left to donate to Woy Woy Lifeline."
