Umina holds Men's Kingfisher Carnival

Umina Beach Men's Bowling Club held its annual graded two-bowl triple Men's Kingfisher Carnival on Friday and Saturday, July 19 and 20.

"It was a great turnout of teams from across the Central Coast and Sydney," said club secretary Mr Peter Springett.

The carnival winners were Rick Hamilton, Nigel O'Donnell/Brett Coltman and Peter Massingham from Ourimbah for the second year running, with seven wins + 114.

Second place went to Jim Zrilic, Brad Donaldson and Glen Raymond from St Johns Park,Kurri Kurri with six Wins + 59.

Umina Bowling Club took third and fourth places.

Joel Austin, Kieran Kozlowski and Tony Potter had five wins + 36, while Shaw Stokie, Mark Harrison and Greg Shirley had five wins + 32.

Fifth place went to David Wilcox, Brian Donald and Tony Aldrich from Ourimbah-Munmorah with five wins + 24.

The consolation prize was won by Kel Clarke, Brad Duxbury and Mark Hogden from Umina.
