Youth bowls tournament has $1000 in prizes

Ettalong Bowling Club will run The Eagles Youth Triples on January 21 with more than $1000 in prize money and gift vouchers.

The tournament will be played in three games of 13 ends of two-bowl triples, starting at 9:30am start.

Teams of three must have at least two players under 18 and one under 25.

Winners will be decided on wins plus margin.

A free barbecue lunch will be served after the second game.

Full bowls uniform is required.

Players can change positions from game to game, but not teams.

All players must be present at the presentation to collect a prize.

Prizes will be $360 to the first team, $270 to the second team, $180 to the third team, $120 to the fourth team and $90 to the fifth team.

Four random prizes valued at $25 will be awarded to players not in the top five teams.

No fee will be charged for entry.

Entries close on Wednesday, January 17, and are to be lodged with Darren Morrison by email to darren@ettalongbowlingclub.net or John Roberts at jr@ettalongbowlingclub.net.
