Amendment seeks 'coastal' design and tree removal
An application to amend a development application for a dual occupancy at 105 Karingi St, Umina, approved in 2021, has been lodged with Central Coast Council.
"The modification proposes more of a coastal design with a skillion roof and incorporates internal raked ceilings to all common living and dining areas," according to the application prepared by Red Apple Design.
It also proposes to remove a tree at the rear of the property "as it seems to be near the approved development".
"The approved development application is for a single storey, three-bedroom dual-occupancy with a traditional 22.5 degree hipped-roof with gable ends over the alfresco."
This amendment is currently on public exhibition and open for public submissions.
The closing date for submissions is not displayed on the Council website.
