Morning teas mark personal milestones

Morning and afternoon teas to recognise Peninsula residents celebrating significant birthdays and wedding anniversaries have been organised by the Federal Member for Robertson Dr Gordon Reid during October.

Two couples from Umina celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were Mr Bruce and Ms Amanda Stavert, and Mr Fortunato and Ms Laura Vella.

Ettalong resident Ms Eva Penson celebrated her 101st birthday.

Held in his office, Dr Reid said it was an opportunity to present each of them with a certificate and to enjoy a reflective morning or afternoon tea.

Dr Reid said it was an honour to regularly host celebratory morning and afternoon teas for residents.

"It is a real highlight to be able to share in the happiness of people celebrating significant birthdays and wedding anniversary milestones," Dr Reid said.

Anyone who would like to register for a congratulatory message should contact Dr Reid's office on 4322 2400 or email gordon.reid.mp@aph.gov.au.
