Principal and deputy put on 'delicious spread'
Umina Beach Public School principal Ms Karen Wardlaw and deputy Ms Kristy Nott have put on a "delicious dessert spread" for its Parents and Citizens Association committee.
"As the end of the year is coming quickly, they took the time this evening to express their ongoing thanks and gratitude towards our amazing group of volunteers," said association president Ms Kristy Lowe.
"They celebrated us with kind words, and a delicious dessert spread.
"We were pleasantly surprised by their lovely gesture of kindness.
"We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of a school where our dedication is valued and celebrated.
"Our monthly meetings involve collaborative discussions between parents and the school's executive team.
"The fact we also enjoy ourselves say a lot about the strong sense of community and mutual respect we share," said Ms Lowe
