Peninsula News: A community activity
Peninsula News is as much a community activity as it is a community service.
Our fortnightly voluntary non-profit community newspaper is produced by members of our community as a service to our community.
It relies on voluntary participation, ranging from submitting material through to being an active part of the production team. No-one is paid.
Volunteering can range from spending an hour or two through to taking responsibility for a role within the production team. Training is provided.
Volunteers are currently needed to help with fundraising and sponsorship, news gathering, and sub-editing collected material into news style.
Other available roles include that of photographer and picture editor, online production manager and bookkeeper.
For further information, call 4342 5333 or email editor@peninsula.news and one of our volunteers will get back to you.
