Exchange student celebrates birthday in Australia

The Rotary Club of Umina Beach has celebrated a milestone with its Danish Rotary youth exchange student who is celebrating her birthday in Australia.

"Happy birthday to our wonderful Rotary Exchange student Thyra Jorgensen, all the way from Denmark," said the club's publicity officer Mr Geoff Melville.

"Thyra has enjoyed herself immensely and learned so much since she arrived in June 2018 and is sadly coming close to leaving us.

"Her birthday gift is a Harbour Bridge climb and the much-awaited Exchange Student Safari."
