Surprise visit from Scottish relative

A Peninsula Village resident received a surprise earlier this month from a Scottish relative she had not seen in years.

"Isla Bruce was greeted by her two daughters and the sound of bagpipes announcing the arrival of her second cousin, Ewan," said Peninsula Village chief executive Mr Shane Neaves.

"Ewan had come out from Scotland to play at her granddaughter's wedding in Sydney.

"Isla's two daughters escorted him into the village grounds to enhance the full effect of his arrival.

"The smile on Isla's face says it all," Mr Neaves said.
