SRC raises funds

Last term the Brisbane Water Secondary School (BWSC) Woy Woy campus Student Representative Council (SRC) has held a mufti day and a pizza day and raised $300 for Jeans for Genes day.

The SRC has booked four seats for their future captains and vice captains to attend the 2003 National Younger Leaders day on November 24.

It has also sent a cheque to their sponsored child in Chinnaraj Kuppan.

The college is in the process of ordering 12 outdoor seating settings and with the help of the construction class these should be in by the end of the year.

There have been concerns raised over bus shelters.

The SRC has had discussions with principal Mr David Beattie and Ms Marie Andrews regarding whose responsibility it is to erect the shelters and cover the cost involved.

Lesser issues such as the toilets and canteen were also being addressed by the SRC.
