Mahoganies to go in council plan
Gosford Council is to display a plan to remove swamp mahogany trees at Ettymalong Creek, Umina.
The preliminary documentation regarding the plan, which intended as a flood mitigation measure, will be available until September 12 at Woy Woy and Umina libraries.
An information display will also be mounted between 2pm and 4pm on August 30 at Umina Surf Life Saving Club, Sydney Ave, Umina.
Council staff will be available at the display to answer questions.
The public has been invited to comment in writing on the proposed actions by 5pm, September 12.
