First noodle bar opens

The Peninsula's first noodle bar has opened in Rocks Arcade, Ettalong.

Trading as Lisa's Oodles of Noodles, the business offers a range of takeaway noodle dishes with a selection cooking styles and ingredients.

All dishes are served with freshly chopped vegetables and the meal takes four minutes to cook.

Also on offer are kebabs and fish and chips.

Proprietor Lisa Smith has had 10 years experience in the hospitality industry in a busy Sydney-based theatre restaurant.

"The business has started well. We've had a great response from customers as well as local businesses," she said.

Open seven days a week, the business offers eat in, take away and home delivery service.

Lisa has lived in Ettalong for eight years and regards herself as a local girl.

"We have been pleased to attract many regular customers including a few of Asian origin who enjoy our noodles," she said.
