Residents' association gives tips about DA submissions

The Peninsula Residents' Association will hold a workshop on Thursday, June 13, on making submissions about development applications.

The workshop will be held at 7pm at the Everglades Country Club, Woy Woy, and will be open to the public.

"We've heard our community's concerns about development applications," said association planning specialist Mr Frank Wiffen.

"This session aims to provide essential guidance on how to create effective submissions about them."

The workshop will describe the development application process, and the opportunity to shape development and influence decision-making through the public submission process.

It will provide step-by-step instructions for preparing submissions, and how residents can have their voice heard.

The workshop will be an opportunity to learn from the experience of the association and to share experiences with fellow residents, to ask questions and gain insights.

Attendance is free, and all are welcome.

Registration is encouraged and may be made online at the association's website https://www.peninsularesidents.org.au.

The Residents Association is a non-profit community group with aims of promoting responsible development, preserving the natural environment, and enhancing the quality of life for Peninsula residents.
