Little Theatre prepares for The Girl on the Train

Woy Woy Little Theatre is preparing for its presentation of The Girl on the Train in August.

The play is adapted by Rachel Wagstaff and Duncan Abel from a novel by Paula Hawkins and the related film.

It will be directed by Ms Christine Vale, with a cast of Ms Teanau Murphy, Mr Martin Pemberton, Mr Greg Buist, Ms Lucia Mandile, Ms Kassie Brown, Mr Terry Matthews and Mr Scott Larimore.

Stage manager will be Ms Patrice Horne, lighting designer Mr Lloyd Grounds and set designer Mr Stephen Pembroke.

The play is about Rachel, alcoholic, unemployed, divorced and obsessively interested in what she sees through train windows.

She finds herself inexorably drawn to the case of a missing woman, Megan, who she has glimpsed kissing a man who is not her husband.

Given that Rachel was seen in the neighbourhood on the night of Megan's disappearance, might she have vital clues to the case?

Adult tickets will cost $30, with children's tickets also available.
