Soccer club announces free junior academy programs

Umina United Soccer Club has announced two new free junior development programs.

The Umina United Academy program is for players who want to grow, improve, and achieve their personal best.

Coaches running the program will focus on building fundamental skills, boosting confidence and game understanding and nurturing a passion for the sport.

The Umina United Elite Academy program provides high-performance training to help players excel at the next level.

With access to experienced coaches, players will focus on advanced skills and tactics, game intelligence and decision-making, and preparation for elite-level opportunities

Promoting the programs, the club said C Licence and B Licence coaches would ensure high-quality, professional training for all participants with "player-centered development".

The academies would be free, because "as a family focussed club, we understand the financial pressure on our families and are committed to supporting the development of our players without adding to those pressures".
