Two development programs offered at SEUFC

Southern and Ettalong United Football Club is offering two soccer development programs this year: Academy and Pathways.

They are tailored to different levels of development and commitment, according to president Ms Stevie Skene.

"The Academy Program focuses on skill development and player growth.

"It is open to all players looking to improve their technical and tactical understanding of the game.

"The program involves weekly training sessions over a set period, focusing on skill-building and game awareness.

"Benefits include expert coaching in a structured, supportive environment.

"It is ideal for players wanting to enhance their abilities for club and school competitions, with no ongoing competitive team commitments."

On the other hand, the Pathways Program emphasised advanced player development and competition preparation, she said.

"It is designed for players selected to represent the club at a higher competitive level.

"Full-season commitment involves regular training and competitive matches."

She said benefits included elite-level coaching designed for high performance and exposure to advanced tactics.

It included fitness programs and competitive gameplay and "a direct pathway to higher-level football opportunities".

"Both programs are designed to foster growth and passion for the game, ensuring players can find the right fit for their skills and goals," she said.
