New submissions policy to be exhibited
Central Coast Council will exhibit a "submissions policy" for public comment before then end of March.
The policy will reflect the council decision to require 20 unique submissions to trigger referral of a development application to the Local Planning Panel.
In response to a question from Peninsula News, Council's media unit stated: "Council resolved at its December 2024 meeting to adopt a Submissions Policy with 20 unique submissions to trigger referral to the Local Planning Panel, and to submit that policy to the Department of Planning for approval.
"The next step is for the Submissions Policy to be drafted and put on public exhibition in the first quarter of 2025."
The original decision was made on the notice of motion by deputy mayor Cr Doug Eaton at the council's November meeting.
