Book donations sought for remote communities
Ettalong Public School is hosting a Great Book Swap for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
"We are currently collecting quality children's book donations to help bridge the gap, so that children living in remote communities have the same opportunities as those living in urban Australia," said school principal Ms Lynn Balfour.
"If you have favourite books at home that are no longer used and are in good condition, please bring them to the school and place them in the Great Book Swap box in the library."
