Scholarships to 15 students in Gosford electorate
Department of Communities and Justice Scholarship has granted 15 $1000 scholarships to students in the Gosford electorate who live in social housing or out-of-home care
"The scholarships can be used for education expenses like textbooks, IT equipment and internet access," said Central Coast Parliamentary Secretary Mr Adam Crouch.
"I know that this will help to lift the load for students in their final years of high school or early years of tertiary education.
"Funding these scholarships is not just a cost - it is an investment in the future of young people growing up in social housing or who are in out-of-home care on the Central Coast.
"The NSW Government is working hard to improve school completion rates, boost vocational and tertiary qualifications and enhance work readiness, so that young people can break the cycle of disadvantage."
