Club to be revamped

The registered club in Hardys Bay is expected to be revamped after a new president and board were elected.

New president Terry O'Flaherty claims 30 years of experience in the club industry and said he would lead a new team to the task ahead.

The level of clubhouse comfort at Hardys Bay RSL is the focus of the revamp with the removal of the deck bistro and plans to repaint the exterior.

"Thanks to a generous donation, a new 60-inch flat screen TV has also been installed to cater for sports lovers," said Hardys Bay Residents Group publicity officer Mr Allan Wilson.

"The board's aim is to help strengthen the community spirit of all groups in the area by making the club's entertainment facilities, as well as the Naked Chilli bistro, more attractive to patrons," he said.
