Record number of Nippers

The Killcare Surf Life Saving Club's summer season had a record 170 Nippers attending the first championship day last month.

"It is great to see that the Nippers are gaining in confidence each week and learning more skills which are tested on championship days," said junior activities coordinator Ms Yvonne Hayter.

"They have welcomed the interesting variety of regular group activities which, according to age, include flags, sprints, board training and water activities."
