Rugby club looks to expand its women's squad

Woy Woy Rugby Club is looking to expand its women's squad.

"We are looking for women who ideally have rugby union, rugby league, touch or OzTag experience," said club president Mr Phil Burgess.

"If you haven't and you would like to get involved in our Lionesses squad, we still would be interested with having a chat."

For further information, contact coach Neil Gilsenan on 0467 661 349.

The club is also looking for architects to help it with grant applications for better facilities for the club's seniors and juniors.

"When it comes to putting in grant applications we need to have plans drawn up."

Any architects who may be able to assist should phone Phil on 0435 814 412 or email president@woywoyrugby.com.au.

In the meantime, with the help of the Ettalong Community Bank, the club has secured a replacement shipping container for the Ettalong Juniors ground.

"The current container unfortunately has had many leaks and due to its rusty condition it was time for it to be replaced."
