Judo club to re-open at Umina PCYC
Woy Woy Judo Club will re-open with classes starting next week.
In January, it announced its "immediate closure".
It attributed the closure "to a number of factors including the cost of living, extreme overheads and limited coach availability".
The club will re-open at PCYC Umina with classes starting next Tuesday, June 10.
"After a break, we're thrilled to be back on the mats, and even more excited to be running our classes at PCYC Umina.
"For over 40 years, our club has been a staple of the Peninsula community.
"Our mission has always been to instill knowledge, confidence and humility to all who walk through our door in a fun and safe learning environment.
"Family-run, family-owned, whatever your goal, we are proud to share this Olympic martial art with all."
