Author to present new novel at Umina library
Author Ms Darcy Tindale will present her novel Burning Mountain in a talk at Umina Beach Library on Thursday, June 5.
The novel is the sequel to her first novel The Fall Between.
It is described as drawing inspiration from the author's childhood in the Upper Hunter Valley, and as a portrait of rural Australia, the unspoken secrets that small communities can harbour and the devastating ramifications they can cause.
The talk will be held from 10:30am and 11:30am.
A local bookstore will have copies of the novel available.
Bookings are essential, and may be made at the library or by phone on 4304 7333.
