Umina surf club elects life member
Umina Surf Life Saving Club has elected a new life member at its 64th annual general meeting on Sunday, June 23.
Pam Edmonds was awarded life membership for being "a dedicated member since 1995, patrolling for an impressive 26 years".
"Her greatest passion and most significant contributions have been as a trainer and assessor, where she has trained a remarkable 831 SRC and 839 Bronze Medallion personnel."
Also during the meeting, the club's first life member John Sharpe presented the club with one of his life member jackets, as a special memento to be treasured by the club.
