High-scoring rugby union match for Woy Woy

Woy Woy played host to the Razorbacks at Woy Woy Oval in what proved a high-scoring match for round 11 of Central Coast Rugby Union competition.

The Razorbacks gained the victory over Woy Woy by 51 points to 19.

Woy Woy opened the scoring in the match in the start they wanted and never gave up.

Their early converted try saw them lead by seven points to nil.

However, the lead did not last long.

The Razorbacks were quick to respond and they were soon over for their first try.

The Razorbacks then maintained the attack and were able to cross for a further four tries in the half to go to a handy 29-7 lead at halftime.

The Razorbacks continued to control proceedings in the second half and were able to post a further 22 points in the second half.

However, to Woy Woy's great credit, they never gave up.

They were able to cross for two converted tries in the second half and the scores for the final 40 minutes were Razorbacks 22 Woy Woy 14.

It was a quite evenly-fought second half.

Woy Woy were best served by lock Tali Sitani, fullback Jacob Mills, and prop Daniel King.

The win sees the Razorbacks leapfrog Avoca Beach and move into second spot on the competition ladder.

In Premier 2 competition, the Razorbacks defeated Woy Woy 65-0.

In Women's 12s, the Razorbacks defeated Woy Woy 61-0.
