Council announces completion of Esplanade pathway

Central Coast Council has announced the completion of a newly-constructed section of shared path along The Esplanade, which has"improved accessibility and safety".

"The newly constructed 190 metre pathway runs along the foreshore from outside of 119 The Esplanade to Kourung St), and includes 150 metres of a 2.5 metre-wide shared path and 40 metres of 1.5 metre footpath," the council stated in a social media post.

"Landscape works and installation of fencing was also completed.

"This important project is a delivery of one of many shared path improvements outlined in Council's Pedestrian Access Mobility Plan, which aims to provide a network of safe, high-quality and well-connected pathways that enables pedestrians of all abilities to

move efficiently and conveniently throughout the Central Coast."
