Yoga Aid challenge

The Umina Beach Yoga Aid Challenge is being held at the Precinct Park in Umina on Saturday, November 12, at 8am.

Local Yoga students and teachers including Helen Macnair and Carolyn Glover will come together to complete 108 sun salutations, raising money for charities including the Nelune Foundation, Sunnyfield Independence and Barnardos.

This it the fourth year that Peninsula yogis have taken part in the international charity fundraiser.

"Yoga Aid has developed an online fundraising vehicle hosted on the Yoga Aid website which is easy to use, secure, and ensures 100 per cent of donations go straight to charity," said Ms Macnair.

"All expenses are supported privately:

"Yoga Aid takes no deductions from any donations for the running of the organisation or events.
