Aldi store opens

A new Aldi store will open its doors on Trafalgar Ave, Umina, on Wednesday, November 2.

Aldi's managing director for the Minchinbury region Mr Oliver Bongardt said the new store would provide Umina customers with the chance to experience Aldi's shopping innovations and exclusive brands.

He said the store would bring smarter shopping, employment opportunities and retail competition to the local community.

"We are the only major grocery retailer in Australia to list all products and prices online so consumers know the exact value they are getting when they shop at Aldi," he said.

"There has been a lot of excitement leading up to the opening and our employees are gearing up for a busy day," said Mr Bongardt.

The new store will be open Monday to Wednesday 8.30am - 7pm, Thursday 8.30am -8pm and Friday-Sunday 8.30am-7pm.
