Fete raises $20,000

St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School held its fete on Saturday, October 15, and raised over $20,000.

Principal Mr Frank Cohen said the money would be directed into the school's play area and rejuvenation of the oval.

"The fete was a huge success and my deepest appreciation goes to Glenn Huntley, Margaret Channing, Joanne McGill, all members of the P and F and Fete committees and parents who graciously volunteered their time to run the stalls and events held throughout the day," said Mr Cohen.

"The school board and P and F will be working diligently to make some major changes for the benefit of all the children."
