A place for the old folks

Gee! To say that I am shocked at the amount of hate mail poor ole Macca's has received in the last couple of weeks is an understatement.

Where else on the Peninsula can us old folks get a bacon and egg roll and a free coffee for under four bucks, an ice cream for 50c, a free read of a newspaper and the use of clean toilets?

It won't stop me frequenting the coffee shops of West St, but where are there toilets especially for us oldies?

Macca's gives employment for kids wanting to earn a few dollars as well as teaches them courtesy.

There always seem to be plenty of parking supplied.

It's a great place for kids to hang out (remember the milk bars in our day).

As for the question of litter, I don't think that you can blame them for that.

A litterbug will always be a litterbug no matter who ever the food supplier.

Bring it on McDonalds, I say.
