Umina author receives recognition in parliament
Umina author Mr Sean Richardson has received recognition in the NSW Parliament.
"I would like to congratulate Sean Richardson, a wonderful author of a new crime thriller novel, The Maltese Web," Member for Gosford Ms Liesl Tesch said in a Community Recognition Statement.
"This thrilling novel explores the depths of corruption and the power of redemption.
"Sean brilliantly interspersed the rich culture, interesting history, unique way of life and stunning architecture of Malta as a backdrop to the story.
"The Maltese Web was so well written with details planned strategically thanks to Sean's 20 years of banking experience."
Ms Tesch said she had the pleasure of the pleasure of joining Mr Richardson at the launch of the book.
"I was personally surprised to see how many members of the local community were there to support him."
Ms Tesch said last week that Mr Richardson and his wife, Carol, volunteer to read books to local children at the Umina Beach Book Nook.
