Folk music awards finalist to perform at the Troubadour
The Troubadour Folk Club's concert on Sunday, February 23, will see Irish-born Victorian folk singer Enda Kenny perform.
"Enda made his home in Australia in the late 1980s and has delighted Australian audiences around the country for over three decades," said club president Mr Michael Fine.
Last year, he was a finalist in the Australian Folk Music Awards for best solo artist and the People's Choice award.
"His thoughtful, descriptive stories of his adoptive homeland have struck a chord with festival audiences all over Australia and are always memorable and spiced with plenty of humour.
"The Troubadour has booked the auditorium at the Everglades Country Club in Woy Woy to accommodate the expected large audience that follow and appreciate Enda's work.
"At the event, Enda will be launching his new CD, presenting great original Australian music with a distinct Irish accent," said Mr Fine.
Tickets for the event which starts at 2:30pm are available online via links on the club's website at www.troubadour.org.au.
