St John's hold Book Week next week
St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School will hold its Book Week in the last week of August.
This year's theme is "Reading is Magic", said principal Ms Nicole Davies.
"We invite all students to dress up for the Book Week Parade which will be on Monday, August 26, at 9am in the school hall.
"Families are welcome."
Students may dress as their favourite book character, or inspired by the magical theme as wizards, fairies, magicians, witches or unicorns.
An author Visit is happening at the school on Tuesday, August 27.
A book fair will be open throughout the week from Monday, August 26, to Friday, August 30.
Father's Day celebrations will also be held on the Friday of this week.
